The Studio

Born at the barre. Built for more.

Saalt began as Redlands Barre - a small studio with a clear focus and a community that quietly became something much greater. As the women around us deepened their practice, we realized we had more to offer than our name could hold. So we became Saalt. Inspired by the grounding, essential nature of salt - restorative, enduring, and always necessary.

And we’re just getting started.

Built to feel like yours.

Saalt is a women-only movement studio in Redlands, California - the kind of place you didn’t know you were looking for. Calm, softly lit, and always welcoming, it’s designed to feel as good to be in as it does to move in. Classes stay intimate at 16 clients per session, so you’re never just a number on a schedule.

Ally Gillespie

Meet the founder.

She came for a barre class. She never left.

A natural performer with a competitive streak and an MBA in Marketing, Ally traded a career in tech for a life on the mic and never looked back. When the studio where she'd become a devoted client asked if she'd like to teach, it felt like the job she'd always been training for.

She went on to earn certifications as a NASM Personal Trainer and NASM Nutrition Coach, and is comprehensively certified in Barre and Pilates β€” having trained with some of the biggest names in the industry, including BASI Pilates, Balanced Body, Barre Intensity, Booty Barre, and Pronatal Fitness. In time, the studio that shaped her became hers to lead. Today she guides the instructors of Saalt with the same energy she brings to every class β€” passionate, intentional, and deeply invested in the women around her.

You'll still find her on the mic, leading, teaching, and pouring into what it means to be a part of Saalt.

Meet the Instructors
